Last week was awesome. I spent a ton of time with friends, I went to Busch Garden’s Howl-O-Scream, and I was finally able to bring my camera on an Auxiliary patrol!
But before I get to any of that I have something I need to scratch off my bucket list.
I can juggle! I finally feel confident enough to say I have learned to juggle and I can do so without dropping everything everywhere. This is a three ball cascade pattern and I’ve already started practicing another pattern called columns. I’m actually really proud of myself for sticking with it and learning, because it was incredibly hard for me in the beginning. I was tempted to quit many times but somehow I stuck with it, and although it has taken me longer than most people I have finally gotten the hang of it. It just goes to show that with enough practice and hard work, anything is possible.
Now back to my week, Wednesday night I spent some time at the beach alone, laying in the cool sand and watching the clouds and stars pass by above me. I was feeling kind of down and overwhelmed and I needed the vast universe above me to help put my problems into perspective. So I stayed in the sand under the moonlight until I started to feel better.
On Thursday I was able to go on an evening patrol with the coast guard auxiliary!
After my patrol on Thursday I drove out for a late night dinner two of my best friends!
All the Halloween stuff is on sale at Michael’s right now! So we bought this amazing lantern, and yes, it will sit out year round.
Saturday Adam and I got up early and went to Busch Gardens with our friends!
All the pictures were taken by Jennie.
Finally, Sunday, I spent the whole day photographing a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party for an adorable 2 year old. Almost three years ago I photographed his parents wedding and yesterday I got to help celebrate his birthday! Of course I haven’t gotten to edit any of the pictures yet….that’s what Monday is for.
Hopefully this week will be just as good as the last one!
Happy Monday, wordpress!
