The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! After months of planning, saving, organizing and stress, everything came together and we had a brilliant time.
We got all packed and ready on Friday night and then we stopped by Neko Con, a huge anime/comic convention hosted here in town before heading home to get some sleep. My best friend Elijah slept over and house sat for us all week. He even put up with my constant texts saying, “how are my babies? Did Frankenstein get her pill? Is everything okay?” and he was an absolutely amazing caretaker.
Saturday morning we were up bright and early to start our twelve hour drive to Orlando, Florida! This was my first time ever traveling towards the south so it was very exciting!
Sunday I woke up early and I felt restless. I wanted our adventure to start, so while everyone else relaxed a little I went walking around the hotel taking pictures of the beautiful scenery.
This is someone’s playhouse!
While in Florida I really wanted to see oranges and alligators! Luckily I got to see both!
CityWalk is absolutely gorgeous at night and walking around really got me excited for our days at the park! Also we parked in Jurassic Park 404 … haha!
Monday the forecast called for rain so we decided to leave Orlando and visit a beautiful place called Bok Tower in Lake Wales, Florida. A little less than an hour out of Orlando and we had perfect sunshine all day long! Plus it gave us an opportunity to get a look at beautiful Florida!
This is the singing tower! There are bells that play magical songs throughout the day.
These lily pads were bigger than me!
On the way out we passed a bunch of orange groves!
This is where Florida’s Natural orange juice is made
When we returned from our Bok Tower adventure we found Orlando covered in gray clouds and rain. We were so happy to have spent a sunny beautiful day in a nearby town. Stay tuned for part 2!
